Certificates and inspection reports, signed, from your Word template

For engineers, inspectors and technicians who issue the same certificate or report again and again: save the people who sign once, with their authorization number and signature, and pick them for each new document.

Save who signs, once

Create a collection of engineers with their name, authorization number and signature image. In the template, write {{engineer.name}}, {{engineer.authorizationNumber}} and {{engineer.signature}}. For each certificate, pick the engineer in the form: the name, the number and the signature fill in together, so a certificate never goes out with the wrong signature.

Sections that appear only when they apply

Wrap text in a section to show it only when it applies. With {{#is_company}}Company registration: {{company_vat}}{{/is_company}} the registration line appears only for companies. A section also shows when its field has a value, so optional remarks print only when someone fills them in.

Photos, logos and stamps

Image fields insert a PNG or JPEG at the size you choose: small (4 cm), medium (8 cm) or large (15 cm). Use them for site photos, a client's logo or a scanned stamp.

The certificate, the report and the cover letter together

Generate several templates from the same data at once, up to 20, and download them as one ZIP file, as Word, as PDF or both. Files are named after the template and the entry, for example “Engineering certificate - Customer A.pdf”.

Example: an engineering certificate

The example has the client and site fields, a date of inspection, a section shown only for companies and the engineer's name, authorization number and signature.

Questions

Can I issue certificates for a whole list of people at once?

Not yet. Each document is filled from one entry, and an entry is filled in through its form. Importing a spreadsheet is not available yet.

Is the signature safe?

Images are stored privately in your workspace, on servers in the European Union, and only people in your workspace can use them.

Will the PDF look like the Word file?

Yes, when the template uses Calibri, Cambria, Arial, Times New Roman or Courier New: PDFs use fonts with the same widths, so lines and pages break as in Word. See the template guide.
